There are dozens of kinds of parties, and for each one, it requires different supplies. For each occasion though there is of course the basic essentials that are needed, such as plates and cups and napkins and more or less streamers. But, in other kinds of parties they all require something different. Here is a list of each occasion and what is generally used at a party such as these:
* Halloween Party: At these kinds of parties, they are generally more than just a party and need extra supplies in order to pull off the event and scene that you would naturally want to have. If it is the Halloween party, you probably want to have cob webs and spiders, flashing colored lights, dry ice to make it spooky and foggy like a dark night, pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns. Balloons and streamers are just the beginning. Glow in the dark lights, life-size stand ups of scary people such as goblins and skeletons etc. It will have everybody jumping out of their pants. Finding supplies to help you with a haunted house, or bobbing for apples, pumpkin carving etc. Games and activities need supplies. It just all depends on the choice and what you would like to do.
* Costume/Theme Party: Costume parties don’t have to be used for just Halloween. You can have a themed party that requires dressing up and having fun. They don’t have to be spooky and scary. They can be the fun kinds of parties that are just for fun. If it were a pirate party, or a cave man party, everyone would dress up as a pirate or a cave man, but you would need the supplies to make the whole party centered on that theme. Life size stand ups, and scene setters etc.
* Baby Shower: At baby showers, you want to have things that pertain to babies, such as craft diaper pins and diapers, baby bottles and bibs, etc. Balloons and streamers to coordinate and a baby shower banner. All of these supplies are available at any party store.
* Bridal Shower: Same with the bridal shower, supplies that pertain to the bride and the wedding in general. Such as party wedding bells, and candles, party favors. Also, the streamers and balloons fit into this occasion quite nicely as well. There needs to be party dinnerware that is coordinated with this event as well.
* Birthday Party: This is probably one of the simplest ones. It requires pretty much everything. The candy and cake and ice cream, dinnerware, balloons, streamers, party favors, gifts, banners, tablecloth, invitations etc. Everything applies to this category.
So, with all of these parties, you can simplify or use more creativity into your own event than the basics that are used here. Have fun decorating and celebrating!!
